Abstract: Outsourcing cleaning service in public high school: a saving for public finances? — This article examines the financial implications of outsourcing processes for cleaners in public high schools. Based on a monograph and national statistics, we compare all costs first for the public authority, then more broadly for public finances, taking into account various fiscal and social effects. It appears that outsourcing must rely on significant reductions in the volume of work to allow real budgetary savings, which raises questions about the social impact and quality of service of these strategies.
