Abstract:
Behind the economic competition of transnational and multinational firms, States intervene, either through international economic organizations or directly from State to State on a thorny issue that concerns them and that could lead to forms of economic warfare. Today, the instruments have developed, with secondary sanctions, the extraterritoriality of economic sanctions, cyber attacks, fiscal and debt conflicts, breaks in economic integration, direct power relations between the major powers (China, USA, Europe), the suspension of economic aid, or the withdrawal of a state from international organisations.
