Abstract: In the question of singularity we will see a double issue: how the thinking and free subject is treated by contemporary science with all the risks that the path of reductionism carries; and then how a singular path of research can be constructed to answer new enigmas. Valérie Charolles is a researcher in philosophy at IMT-BS, member of the VP-IP Chair (IMT), associate researcher at LACI (CNRS/EHESS) and teaches at EHESS. Her work is supported by her experience in the public and economic spheres.
