Abstract: The sections of the military forces have evolved over time. We have gone from the War Section to the Land Section, from the Colonies Section to the Overseas Section, with different contents. In order to have homogenous statistical information, it is therefore necessary to analyse the budget lines in order to allocate them to the sections that today make up the French Army, in particular the Air, Land, Navy, Gendarmerie or Overseas Territory Sections or Strategic or Tactical Nuclear Forces It is also interesting to establish more precise information on programme authorisations Budget militaire français, Forces, statistiques French military budgets, Military forces budgets, statistics.
