PAC et pacte vert. Le grand écart

Abstract:
The European Commission endorsed the European Green Pact in 2019, with a renewed ambition for climate and environmental policies. Issued in May 2020, the Farm to Fork Strategy (F2FS) expands on the Green Deal's goals and actions for the food and agriculture sector. The CAP is becoming an envelope that member states can use to pursue very different policies. Subsidiarity is being pushed to the point where distortions of competition are to be feared. Unfortunately, there is a risk of a race to the bottom in terms of environmental and climate protection. The gap between the new CAP and the Green Deal would be even greater.
