Abstract: It is all the more difficult to model Adam Smith's thought as there are contradictions, often interesting to show the complexity of the subject, which imply choices to retain the essential message of an economist whose doctrinal importance still persists in the 21st century. He opened up new analyses and made a major contribution to the fundamental economic thinking that economists still have today. The model is obviously simplistic and pedagogical, but it allows us to see that Adam Smith was at the origin of many intuitions that were then developed or challenged by all the economic doctrines still taught today.
