Abstract:
We propose an analysis of the rules of the cooperative and the mission-based company. In fact, the constitutive rules and internal conventions in the cooperative include a form of economic democracy with citizen-cooperators. The originality of our contribution is to invite the opening, and even the reopening, of a research agenda, to think of the cooperative as an ideal type of enterprise and to question its relations with society.
