Abstract:
Under the impetus of the Bologna reforms, higher education institutions experience growing needs for strategic diagnoses, planning, and change. SWOT analysis is a simple and effective technique which addresses and supports both strategy-making processes, and institutional ability to implement change. Slightly different Force Field Analyses may provide additional information on organizational capacity for change, as well as clear prospects for the development of change interventions and plans.
