Abstract: The many challenges facing the supply chain (SC) induce an evolution of professions, missions and skills associates. In this context, this research extends and enriches the only longitudinal study conducted in France on skills in logistics and SCM (Bironneau and Le Roy, 2007, 2009; Bironneau et al., 2015) through a survey conducted in 2018 among of 156 supply chain (SC) managers. The results confirm the importance of human skills, indicate an evolution in the importance of compared to previous studies and point out the existence of a base of skills essential for the realization of the missions related to logistics and SCM.
