Abstract: Talent management is a sensitive issue and is one of the most crucial challenges that corporate executives face today. This research contributes to this challenge. Its results, from six confidential case studies of major European companies allow overcoming existing typologies of management talent. They position talent management in a European context and offer a stylized type of talent that shows an elite of a new type. The research produces 5 managerial recommendations for European companies.
