Abstract: The article aims to summarize the current knowledge on governance and digital transformation, focusing on strategic and operational dimensions. It identifies research gaps in linking governance, innovation, and the digital transition, attributing limitations to the challenge of accessing confidential organizational data. It suggests using detailed clinical cases for fruitful research, particularly in exploring the operational aspects of governance. Emphasizing the multidisciplinary nature of this research, it acknowledges complexities in conducting studies across financial, operational, and legal domains. However, it sees this as an opportunity to contribute significantly to understanding governance in the context of digital transformation.
