Duygu Buyukyazici

Post-Print from HAL

Abstract: The present study investigates the interconnected dynamics among digitalisation, workplace skills and the industrial diversification process of regions. By underscoring the multifaceted nature of these relationships, it explores how digital skills influence the evolution of industries across diverse regions, shedding light on their spatial distribution and impact on regional development trajectories. Additionally, the paper emphasises the nuanced interplay between digital skills and the path-dependent factors, relatedness and complexity, addressing their collective impact on regional economic landscapes.
