Abstract:
ESATs (Établissements et services d'aide par le travail—French organizations that help disabled people back into work) implement practices that serve as models for organizations seeking to be more inclusive of people with disabilities. In this study, we gave ESAT workers the opportunity to express their views in order to gain a better understanding of their relationship with work and to identify measures that promote inclusion at work. We propose an expanded definition of an inclusive organization—one that allows everyone to participate in organizational life, ensures a good work-life balance, and offers flexible working arrangements tailored to individual needs.
