Abstract: Environmental problems and the development of new consumption features both make consumersfavour the second-hand market. In this context, this article examines how individual sellers introduce their offers.A comparison between institutional corporate speeches andconsuming sellers' one, which is based on a methodology drawing on the physical sciences and semiotics, led us to highlight the existence of a structural difference in the valuation of the offer.
