Abstract: The major curb mentioned by the farming of cotton area is the progressive decrease of the capacity of the cultivable soils to produce due to the misssection of fertility. Integration Farming-livestock is a solution through the amendment of the organic matter of which it offers. The study's aim was to identify the determinants of the farming-livestock integration practice adoption within farming. An analysis of the socio-economic characteristics of a sample consisting of 120 farms selected randomly was carried out. Statistics were calculated to describe the socio-economic characterics of the research unity surveyed. A bivariate probit model was used to analyze the determinants factors of the farminglivestock integration practice The results revealed that the presence of legumes in rotation, the alphabetization, the possession of the means of transport, the proximity of a water point in the dry season, the number of the bovine, the possession of the radio and the right of ownship have a positive effect on the adoption of the integration farming- livestock practices. On the other hand, the size of the farm has a negative effect but significant. It is therefore important for the research institutions and decision-makers to take these factors in account in order to provide innovation for a better adoption of these practices in a sustainable management of soil fertility.
