Abstract: This research aims to provide an original and insightful perspective on the boundary conditions between human capabilities and those of artificial intelligence machines, drawing on the contributions of Paul Virilio, a philosopher of technology. By examining various use cases, we applied Virilio's concepts, such as "dromology," "perception prostheses," "grey ecology," and "the accident of accidents" to elucidate the domains of action of both humans and artificial intelligence machines. Our research underscores that these boundaries are becoming increasingly blurred, leading to existential, social, and ethical dilemmas.
