Abstract: This communication explores the figure of the leaker, an emerging actor in the disclosure of confidential information on the Internet. Based on netnography and interviews, it analyzes how these individuals build their legitimacy through a specific form of content creation. Notably, the study highlights their ambiguous relationship with the logics of digital capitalism, where deviance, articulated with a form of deference, serves as a central resource.
