Abstract: Nutritional labeling is both a public health measure and a promotional tool for manufacturers. The introduction of the Nutri-score in France in 2017, a synthetic nutritional labeling format, has prompted various academic discussions. The purpose of this paper is to offer a literature review on the effectiveness of the Nutri-score on consumers. Grouped and analyzed through the lenses of attention, comprehension, beliefs, and consumer choice, the research findings have allowed us to identify avenues for future research.
