Abstract:
This article examines the professionalization of service logisticians in a French university hospital, through the lens of knowledge management theory. It explores how professional skills, knowledge, and practices are developed through both formal systems and informal practices. The methodology combines semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and analysis of internal documents. The results highlight the importance of on-the-job learning and informal practices within communities of practice, which complement and adapt institutional professionalization systems.
