The Role of AI-Enhanced Management Information Systems in Supporting Innovation and Leading Performance Among Startups in the Technology Sector in the Middle Euphrates Region

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of AI-enabled management information systems within their different dimensions (HRM, physical resources, software resources, data resources, and network resources) on entrepreneurial innovation within its different dimensions (technology adoption, innovative financing models) and entrepreneurial performance within its different dimensions (strategic orientation, resource orientation, organizational structure, compensation philosophy, entrepreneurial culture) among technology firms in the startups phase. A descriptive-analytical methodology was used in order to accomplish the above purpose. The number of participants included in the research was 138 employees working in technology startups operating in the Middle Euphrates region. The main data gathering instrument utilized was the questionnaire, while the AMOS V.29 and SPSS V.29 were used for the statistical analysis of the collected data. It should be noted that there is a direct relationship between the usage of AI-enabled management information systems within the technology firms in the Middle Euphrates region and innovation because such systems can assist in data analysis and finding new opportunities.
