Abstract: This article examines the legitimacy of mutualism through the prism of the isomorphism at work in Health Insurance, seeking to qualify this environment and its evolutions. The article invites us to see Health Insurance as an interstitial organizational field, a territory of conflict between actors and notions of Social Protection and Insurance, with the advantage turning in favor of the latter, and therefore to the disadvantage of mutuals.
