Abstract:
Nowadays, customers favor longer delivery times over paying extra for green deliveries, enabling companies to consolidate shipments and offer some leniency in order fulfillment. This paper studies time flexibility in fulfilling green orders, using a model that determines preparation dates based on customers' willingness to wait under uncertain demand and capacity.
