Abstract: The main concern which structures F. Perroux's work is to submit scientific investigation in economy to the demands of a political epistemology. The study of his main works published between 1926 and 1941 shows that the economic analysis, if it doesn't want to be reduced only to the level of stools themselves deprived of any meaning, must be interpreted according to a theory of knowledge which objects to scientific knowledge being a transcendent reflection of the reality. It is linked to social practices, identity quests, norms, rhetorics, artefacts and institutions. The features of this political epistemology and their results on theoretical contents described by F. Perroux are here demonstrated.
