Abstract: In the face of contemporary crises, organizations must learn to leverage digital technologies to strengthen their digital resilience (DR). However, the evolution of DR remains underexplored. Drawing on the dynamic capabilities framework, this article examines how the DR of Aix-Marseille University has evolved since 2020, confronted with the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of cyber threats. The analysis highlights the transformations in DR capabilities and the underlying mechanisms. These findings offer new insights into the development of DR in adverse contexts and underscore the importance of a dynamic and context-sensitive approach.
