Abstract: In an era where consumer behavior is increasingly driven by ethical, environmental, and local considerations, this paper presents a microeconomic analysis of the influence of Retail Transnational Corporations (RTCs) on their immediate environments. While RTCs have historically shaped global retail dynamics, their ability to influence local economies through micro-strategic actions, especially at the store level, represents a new frontier in responsible retail management. This study examines how RTCs can create sustainable value by integrating local products and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into their business models, ultimately transforming both the retail landscape and local economic systems.
