Nickel becomes the first export product of Madagascar. Yet, faced with the continued deterioration of the Ariary against the US dollar, promote exports is one of the most solution recommended by many of peoples to remedy this situation. It’s therefore natural to ask the question about the nature of the link between nickel production in Madagascar and the exchange rate of the Ariary against the US dollar.
