Abstract: The degree work presented below is a proposal for improvement for the management of producto innovation in companies in the footwear sector in Bucaramanga, based on the application of the Desing Thinking with the management of the tools: ICT Business Innovation Test Survey and IMCOC Survey. The tools mentioned above were applied, analyzed and diagnosed by means of three objectives proposed to solve the problem posed in this degree work. For the application of the methodology, three objectives were met to diagnose the current situation on the management of innovation in products of the companies of the footwear sector in Bucaramanga, the main external and internal factors that characterize the footwear sector were identified and finally to comply with the design of a proposal for improvement in product innovation management in companies in the footwear sector through the 'design thinking' methodology strategic actions were developed innovation management in products other footwear sector to improve its competitiveness.
