Abstract:
The agri-food industries represent a strategic axis of economic growth. The development of a strong, efficient and competitive industry requires risk management. This study aims to apply the FMEA organization method in the agri-food sector in Algeria in order to detect existing failures within production units and to propose risk mitigation solutions. The use of the FMEA organization method will make it possible, on the one hand, to act proactively on the risks identified through an assessment of the criticality for each associated risk and, on the other hand, to strengthen and optimize the business process of agri-food companies in an increasingly competitive economic context where food safety constitutes a major issue for economic development.
