Abstract: This case study leads a comparative analysis of alternative oil governance structures, understood as the organisational and contractual framework governing the transaction for opening the upstream. The objective is threefold. The first is to identify the area of conflict-cooperation characterizing the transaction. The second is to lead a comparative analysis of the main contractual and fiscal aspects in their intrinsic value for coordinating the transaction. Finally, the third objective is to assess whether these contractual aspects meet a number of criteria and principles as identified in WP4.
