Abstract:
The bulletin analyzes the barriers to accessibility of higher education and the social factors that determine the choice of study path. It examines the educational expectations of Russian families, their perception of barriers to entering higher education, differences in planned trajectories after graduation from basic and high school, and the ease of access to master's programmes. The level of education and material status of parents are considered as the most significant factors in the differentiation of educational opportunities. The bulletin was prepared based on the results of the household survey conducted within HSE University project «Monitoring of Education Markets and Organizations» in the 2021/2022.
