Matrix transformations between the spaces of Cesàro sequences and invariant means

Abstract:

The main purpose of this paper is to characterize the classes of matrices ( c e s [ ( p ) , ( q ) ] , c σ ) and ( c e s [ ( p ) , ( q ) ] , l ∞ σ ) , where c σ is the space of all bounded sequences all of whose σ - means are equal, l ∞ σ is the space of σ - bounded sequences, and c e s [ ( p ) , ( q ) ] is the generalized Cesàro sequence space.
