On a class of univalent functions

Vikramaditya Singh

International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000, vol. 23, 1-3

Abstract:

We consider the class of univalent functions f ( z ) = z + a 3 z 3 + a 4 z 4 + ⋯ analytic in the unit disc and satisfying | ( z 2 f ′ ( z ) / f 2 ( z ) ) − 1 | < 1 , and show that such functions are starlike if they satisfy | ( z 2 f ′ ( z ) / f 2 ( z ) ) − 1 | < ( 1 / 2 ) .
