Abel-type weighted means transformations into â„“

Abstract:

Let q k = ( k + α         k ) for α > − 1 and Q n = ∑ k = 0 n q k . Suppose A q = { a n k } , where a n k = q k / Q n for 0 ≤ k ≤ n and 0 otherwise. A q is called the Abel-type weighted mean matrix. The purpose of this paper is to study these transformations as mappings into ℓ . A necessary and sufficient condition for A q to be ℓ - ℓ is proved. Also some other properties of the A q matrix are investigated.
