Abstract:

We study the behavior of the well-defined solutions of the max type difference equation ð ‘¥ ð ‘› + 1 = m a x { 1 / ð ‘¥ ð ‘› , ð ´ ð ‘› ð ‘¥ ð ‘› − 1 } , ð ‘› = 0 , 1 , … , where the initial conditions are arbitrary nonzero real numbers and { ð ´ ð ‘› } is a period-two sequence of real numbers with ð ´ ð ‘› ∈ [ 0 , ∞ ) .
