Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2008, vol. 2008, 1-12

Abstract:

A sufficient condition is obtained for the global asymptotic stability of the following system of difference equations 𠑧 𠑛 + 1 = ( 𠑡 𠑛 𠑧 𠑛 − 1 + 𠑎 ) / ( 𠑡 𠑛 + 𠑧 𠑛 − 1 ) , 𠑡 𠑛 + 1 = ( 𠑧 𠑛 𠑡 𠑛 − 1 + 𠑎 ) / ( 𠑧 𠑛 + 𠑡 𠑛 − 1 ) , 𠑛 = 0 , 1 , 2 , … , where the parameter 𠑎 𠜖 ( 0 , ∞ ) and the initial values ( 𠑧 𠑘 , 𠑡 𠑘 ) 𠜖 ( 0 , ∞ ) (for 𠑘 = − 1 , 0 ) .
