Abstract:

This paper develops the procedure for the analysis ofthe production systems with quality control devices. Theevaluation of the production system requires an expression for thesystem performance measures as functions of the machine and bufferparameters. This paper presents a method for evaluating thesefunctions and illustrates their practical utility using a casestudy at a production plant.
