Singular Positone and Semipositone Boundary Value Problems of Nonlinear Fractional Differential Equations

Abstract:
We present some new existence results for singular positone and semipositone nonlinear fractional boundary value problem D 𠛼 0 + 𠑢 ( 𠑡 ) = 𠜇 𠑎 ( 𠑡 ) 𠑓 ( 𠑡 , 𠑢 ( 𠑡 ) ) ,  0 < 𠑡 < 1 , 𠑢 ( 0 ) = 𠑢 ( 1 ) = 𠑢  ( 0 ) = 𠑢  ( 1 ) = 0 , where 𠜇 > 0 , 𠑎 , and 𠑓 are continuous, 𠛼 ∈ ( 3 , 4 ] is a real number, and D 𠛼 0 + is Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative. Throughout our nonlinearity may be singular in its dependent variable. Two examples are also given to illustrate the main results.
