Abstract: "The labour market has been affected by the financial and economic crisis less dramatically than widely suspected. A survey of establishments shows that, during the crisis, formerly accumulated credit hours on working time accounts were reduced in order to save jobs. In establishments which were affected by the crisis, the accumulated hours were reduced on average by about 45 hours per employee. In some cases employees even accumulated debit hours on working time accounts." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
