Abstract:
"In 2024, the number of newly concluded training contracts declined slightly again and remains significantly below the pre-coronavirus crisis level. Due to the ongoing economic weakness, many training positions remain vacant. An analysis using data from the 2024 IAB Establishment Panel shows how various indicators of in-company training have developed and provides a company-based perspective on the current situation and challenges on the training market. Particular attention is paid to young people without school qualifications and the development of the retention rate." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
