Abstract:
This paper examines the public finance of the state of Sonora in the period of 2009-2013. We obtain statistical information by documental research. Data management involved applying quantitative methods and procedures for financial analysis. We use vertical, horizontal and historical analysis with the objective of determining the current financial situation of the public administration of the state of Sonora. This work is focused on determining if the current governmental administration of this state, has carried out an efficient and effective collection and proper management of their income offers a healthy public finance. We present concepts, procedures and methods used to perform this analysis. In the second section of this document, quantitative information of the concepts analyzed is presented, compiled from public accounts of the state of Sonora reports. Once analyzed this data allows us to present a series of statements and conclusions
