Abstract: This research project analyzes comparative and competitive advantages of settlements “Oasis” located in in Baja California Sur Mexico. We use a comparative methodology to position the Oasis y to compare thei Oasis against each other. We conduct a Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats analysis for each Oasis position. We use this analysis to determine each Oasis comparative and competitive advantages. With this information, we propose strategies for the development of rural tourism activities for the Oasis of Baja California Sur
