Abstract: This study conducts a market study to determine the feasibility of implementing a school for teaching English in the city of Villahermosa, Tabasco. This research was prompted by the low level of English proficiency among the inhabitants of the state of Tabasco, whose English is below the national average. The importance of conducting this market research is to obtain information to implement strategies that will allow the new English school have a competitive advantage over those already established in the city. In addition, the hope is to provide the population with English Language skills. From this research we concluded that a new English school will be accepted in the population of 26-40 years olds, if it offers the population the possibility to develop basic skills to ensure a proper communication in this language.
