Abstract:
The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between financial dependence of municipalities, their degree of marginalization and debt. Through three indicators (own revenue, dependency and debt) and according to the degree of marginalization, the results show that the level of dependence increases for all municipalities in the study period, especially in the municipalities of very high marginalization however, in municipalities with lower degree of marginalization also increase the proportion of external financing
