Asian Social Science, 2021, vol. 17, issue 2, 70

Abstract: The study aimed to identify the impact of human resource competencies on proactive behavior in Jordanian commercial services companies. The study adopted three dimensions of human resource competencies- knowledge, skills, and attitudes. The study population consisted of (182) managers in Jordanian commercial services companies. The study adopted a comprehensive survey method for managers and (130) questionnaires were obtained, for which the study was conducted. A set of statistical methods were used to analyze the study data, the most important of which is the multiple regression coefficient. The study found that there are high levels of the dimensions of human resource competencies, and the level of proactive behavior was high. There is a significant impact of human resource competencies on proactive behavior.
