Nanoscale Silicon Dioxide Prepared by Sol-Gel Process

Abstract: Nanoscale silicon dioxide has been prepared with tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) by sol-gel process. The optimum process conditions have been obtained by investigating the effect of formulation, temperature, catalyst and etc. on its gel morphology, gel time, and particle size.
