Abstract:
For network service providers and the end users, WiMAX represents a huge technological leap that provides seamless mobile access not possible with the other existing technologies. Both customers and service providers can find it potentially attractive. But like all new technologies, there are inhibitors that prevent adoption of the technology. In this paper we review factors affecting adoption of WiMAX using the technology acceptance model and formulate hypotheses for the adoption.
