Abstract:
This article considers AirAsia (a Malaysian company) under the leadership of Tony Fernandes. AirAsia had very quickly grown to become one of the most successful low cost, short haul airlines in Asia. This article outlines the elements of AirAsia's business model which had enabled it to build a sustainable competitive advantage.
