International Journal of Information Technology and Management, 2009, vol. 8, issue 2, 196-213

Abstract: This purpose of this study is to develop the user satisfaction model of Health Information Systems (HISs). A survey of 252 samples of the medical centre in Taiwan shows that the effects of user involvement and supervisor support on user satisfaction are mediated by HISs quality. Besides, service quality has the most influence on user satisfaction in HISs quality. This research can provide managers of the hospital with the implication that we must focus not only on the Information System (IS) quality aspect (system quality, information quality), but also on the social interaction aspect (user involvement, supervisor support) and technical support aspect (service quality).
