Abstract: Warehouses are structures designed to store products, responsible for establishing a connection among providers and consumers. In terms of costs, the warehouse management represents approximately 20% of the total logistics costs. The objective of this article is to identify critical success factors and the state-of-art of scientific literature perspectives about the warehouse management context. The literature review was developed based on a pragmatic perspective, through a systematic study based on recent articles about warehouse management. The research methodology is based on literature review approach composed with 42 selected articles of well-known peer-review journals.
