Abstract:
The main purpose of this study was to explain the relationships between four variables of spiritual leadership, organisational culture, work engagement, and organisational commitment in an Iranian NGO active in the field of social services. The statistical population included 1,150 employees. To collect the data, after distributing 288 questionnaires, 279 were returned, and analysed. Then, the data was reanalysed using the structural equation method in LISREL software. The results indicated that the research hypotheses had been accepted at a 95% confidence level. In other words, a positive and significant effect of spiritual leadership on organisational culture, work engagement, and organisational commitment has been observed. Organisational culture and work engagement had a significant and positive impact on organisational commitment. Moreover, one of the other research results has been the significant and positive effect of the mediating variables of organisational culture and work engagement on the relationship between spiritual leadership and organisational commitment.
